About Me

The experiences, values, and perspective that shape my approach to work, learning, and creative collaboration.

Early Years

Early Years

I was born and raised in Southern California, where I grew up surrounded by a close-knit Armenian community that valued family, hard work, and strong coffee. Those early years deeply influenced how I see the world. I learned that attention to detail, empathy, and community matter. Whether I was helping relatives with paperwork or listening to conversations over long weekend meals, I developed an appreciation for context, clarity, and communication. These values continue to shape how I approach both people and problems in my professional life today.

Tech Background

Tech Background

Before transitioning into the legal field, I worked in user interface and user experience design. My role required me to bring clarity, function, and aesthetic into alignment. I designed dashboards, mobile apps, and platforms with the goal of simplifying complexity and improving user outcomes. That background helped me develop a strong sense of logic and structure, which now complements my legal training. Whether I am drafting documents, reviewing cases, or organizing information, I approach each task like a designer: focused on usability, intention, and flow.

I have always paid close attention to detail. In my design days, I would zoom in to four hundred percent just to make sure the spacing between elements was precise. That same energy now shows up in my legal work. Whether I am proofreading a motion, formatting trial binders, or reviewing contracts, I take pride in getting things right. It is not about perfection for the sake of it. It is about creating something that is clean, accurate, and ready to stand up to review. Details build trust, and I enjoy the quiet satisfaction of making sure every detail holds up.

In 2018, I entered a pitch contest at Glendale Community College and won first place. I pitched a product I had designed from the ground up, combining research, strategy, and presentation. That experience gave me confidence in my ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively. It also showed me the value of thinking critically, staying composed under pressure, and believing in my own work. The skills I used to build and defend that pitch now show up in how I approach legal research, case presentation, and client-facing communication.

Home Cook

Outside of work, I love spending time in the kitchen. Cooking gives me space to decompress, experiment, and enjoy something tactile after a day filled with screens and structure. I do not chase complexity—I just enjoy making good food that brings joy to others. Cooking also reminds me of balance and intuition. Sometimes you follow the recipe, and sometimes you improvise. Either way, it is about attention, care, and process. That mindset carries over into every part of my life, from casework to communication to collaboration.
